In 2011, Egis acquired Groupe SCE India, a French geospatial solutions company based in Bangalore, and renamed it as Egis Geoplan. Today, Egis Geoplan offers technology solutions in specialized areas of LIDAR, GIS, 3-D Modelling and Remote Sensing. In addition, Egis Road Operations India (EROI), a fully-owned subsidiary of Egis Projects, operates and maintains a number of tolled roads in the country.

Egis in India is spearheaded by Mr. Ashish Tandon. Under his leadership, the Company has successfully strengthened its position across all infrastructure sectors to emerge as an integrated infrastructure company. Under the leadership of Mr. Tandon, the company today has sufficient liquidity to fund its future growth plans. Mr. Tandon is instrumental in making Egis India the cornerstone of the Egis Group.

Egis in India has a healthy organic growth and is also exploring possibilities to grow inorganically as well. The Company is headquartered in Delhi NCR and has regional offices in North, South, East and West of India, with a team of around 1,800. The Company is the nodal body for all business interests of the Egis Group in India.
